Senior Girls Soccer

17 Dec, 2024 | Sport

Our senior girls soccer team travelled to Birr on Friday to play a league match against St Brendan’s Community School. It was a predominantly very young squad that travelled but they played brilliantly only to narrowly lose 2-1. Great link up play between Halle Ryan and Sarah Reynolds ended with Sarah scoring into the far corner of the St Brendan’s goal early on. However, St Brendan’s worked their way back into the game to claim the victory. Well done to our girls and it was great to see the younger players step up and test themselves against older opposition.
