✨ LOETB STEAM Showcase at Banagher College ✨

On Thursday, 10th April, ten brilliant and enthusiastic First Year students proudly represented our school at the LOETB STEAM Showcase in Banagher College. It was a fantastic celebration of creativity, innovation, and teamwork!

Over the year, these students dedicated themselves to exciting projects across the four strands of the programme: 🌍 Minecraft, 🤖 VEX Robotics, 🎙️ Podcasting, and 🧱 Lego League.

At the showcase, they presented their impressive work and competed in a thrilling VEX Robotics challenge, using the robot they designed and built themselves. Lewis O’Neill and Ryan Judge showed great skill and determination, scoring several points on the board—go team! 💪

One of the standout moments was when an extract from the podcast created by Ryan Judge, Luke Daly, Dean Bracken and Ódhran Guilfoyle, with the guidance of Ms Hennessy, was played alongside entries from other schools. We’re delighted to announce that our podcast team secured 2nd place in this category—huge congratulations! 🥈🎉

Meanwhile, Charlie Whelehan, Charlie Egan and Owen Malone confidently presented their amazing Minecraft project, and showcased their talents in the Lego League mini-competition, bringing their Lego-built robot to life in front of the crowd. 🚀

🌟 The students worked incredibly hard all year and were proud to share their projects. It was heartening to see their efforts recognised and rewarded on the day. 🌟

A big shout-out and congratulations to the overall winners, the students and teachers of CNC Kilcormac! 🏆👏
