On Friday 14th October, the Gaelic Football team played against Castlepollard Community College in Castlepollard. It was a sunny day, perfect conditions for the match ahead.

Castlepollard opened the score with a point after only a few minutes, but James Dolan scored a goal and got Clara in the lead, bringing up the team’s confidence. First half was very tight with both Castlepollard and Clara taking turns in the lead. Clara’s defence was brilliant blocking everything that came at them.
