Last week a group of 2nd year students visited TUS, Athlone. They had a ✨wonderful✨ day experiencing what it would be like to go to a 3rd level college. Students began their day in the Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure Department where they learned about tempering chocolate, 🍫 chocolate design, and also visited the Food Forest to learn how the department is being sustainable 🌿.
After a short break, the students made their way to a lecture theatre to learn all about Digital Marketing and “A Day in the Life” of being a student and working in TUS. This was very interesting and the students were very inquisitive. 💡🎓
Students were treated to a tasty lunch in the canteen 🍽️ and finished the day off learning about the world of law ⚖️. We may have a couple of budding solicitors in our midst! 👩⚖️👨⚖️
