As part of their YSI project the T.Y class chose to raise awareness around homelessness in the Midlands.
They raised €500 for the Simon Community through a mis-matched shoe day, 5km walk and coffee morning in the school before Christmas.
The class presented Noel Greene who works on behalf of the Simon Community with the cheque today.
