6th Year Ecology Workshop

10 Apr, 2025 | Environment, Senior Cycle

Our 6th year Biology students had an amazing day at Dublin Zoo for their Ecology Workshop! 🧪🌱

They completed practical and field work as part of the Leaving Cert curriculum – measuring abiotic factors, carrying out transects, identifying plant and animal species, and getting hands-on with real-world ecology.

It was a fantastic mix of science, nature, and fun – with plenty of learning and a few laughs along the way! Big thanks to the zoo staff and our teachers for making it such a memorable day. 👏📚
